Most asked questions

All our products will be delivered fresh to your door. Our meat and fish products are already packed with materials suitable for freezing and can also be safely stored in the freezer. Some of our dairy products are not ideal for freezing. Freezing instructions are also found on the labels. 

All products are wrapped securely and packed inside highly durable double-walled insulated boxes, with recyclable gel packs that can keep your food chilled for up to 48 hours. That way, your food arrives at your door in the same fresh condition as it was when it left the farm.

Yes, you will be able to select a desired date for delivery of your products during checkout. Your food will be sourced and packed a day before your chosen delivery date. On the day of delivery, you will receive notification from our delivery partners with estimated time of arrival.

Yes, there is a minimum spend of £40 on orders. There is a delivery charge which varies between weekday & weekend deliveries. Please check our Delivery Information page for more details.

With all vouchers and discount codes, you should be able to enter these in the ‘Coupon Code’ box during checkout process. This will be on the Cart page.

Quality of product is our main selling point, thus a lot of emphasis is made from start to finish in our supply chain. We ensure our suppliers follow traditional, clean and sustainable farming methods. This includes but not limited to providing conducive environment for each animal to grow and develop solid immune system. We observe high level of quality assurance during packing, handling and transporting of your food. We go further to carry out routine trials with our suppliers and delivery partners to ensure continuity in quality standards.

Products

We are very interested in healthy feeding. Therefore, we provide nutritional information at the description section of the product page on our website.

Different fresh food products have varying shelf life. This information is indicated on the pack and also on the respective product page on our website. For optimal freshness, products should be refrigerated immediately after delivery and if they wouldn’t be consumed straight away, should be quickly stored in the freezer. That way freshness can be retained for much longer.

We do not offer halal nor kosher products at the moment. However, we intend to do so in the near future.

We endeavour to get the butchers to cut and prepare the meat with a lot of precision. Since these are done by hand, it is not possible to guarantee that weights will always match. However, in such circumstances, your meat cuts will in most cases, arrive slightly over the ordered weights

All our products are gotten locally here in Yorkshire. On very rare occasions, we may source some meat and fish products from other parts of the UK, where they are readily available or reared. But in all cases, we never compromise on our quality standards.

All our beef, pork and lamb products are free range and only fed with good quality pastures during the height of the winter months when it is unsuitable for them to graze. For chicken products, in addition to free-range products, we also sell corn fed & barn reared chicken from farms that observe good standards of animal welfare. 

Orders

Yes, you can edit most items in your order up to 08:00am on the the third day before your delivery day. After this time, you would not be able to update your order. If you would wish to update your order please email sales@yofresh.co.uk quoting your order number and we will be happy to assist. Please do note that for certain meat products that require pre-ordering, we may need up to 4 days notice before date of delivery to ensure we can source them right and fresh for you.

Yes, you can track your order from your account (if you created an account during checkout). Our delivery partners also enable you to track your order in transit. Kindly follow the instructions on the notification you receive from the courier.

If there are any issues with your order (incorrect items, quality concerns, damaged packaging, etc) please reach out to us at sales@yofresh.co.uk within 24 hours of delivery and we will be happy to assist. Do have details of the issue at hand including photographs where necessary. 

Yes, the deadline is by 08:00am on the third day before your delivery day. Available dates can be selected during checkout. If you have gone past the ordering deadline for a specific date, such dates will no longer be available to select.

Yes, you can view your order history all in one place under your account, when you are logged in. If you did not register an account with us, order confirmations is always sent out to your email.

Payment & Refunds

Yes, you can cancel up to 08:00am on the third day before your delivery day and a full refund will be issued to your payment card. After this time, you would not be able to cancel the order you have placed with us. However, if there are any issues with your order or you want to cancel, please email sales@yofresh.co.uk and we will be happy to assist. Please do note that for certain meat products that require pre-ordering, we may need up to 4 days notice before date of delivery.

We accept all major debit & credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express). We also accept PayPal. If you have any issues with payment of your order, please email us at sales@yofresh.co.uk and we will be happy to sort it for you.

This is a very rare occurrence, but we do make provision for system failure. In such circumstance, please do send email to us at sales@yofresh.co.uk and we will solve it for you, providing refunds whenever necessary.

Delivery & Returns

Yes, you will be able to select a desired date for delivery of your products during checkout. Your food will be sourced and packed a day before your chosen delivery date. On the day of delivery, you will receive notification from our delivery partners with estimated time of arrival.

Due to the perishable nature of the products we sell, it is advised that you take care when specifying your delivery address during checkout. However, we do understand that these errors may occur in rare cases, so we can allow our customers to change delivery address before order gets shipped. As soon as your order is shipped, there cannot be any further changes to the delivery address.

Currently, we deliver on Wednesdays, Fridays & Saturdays. You can select any of these days during checkout.

No, you do not have to be physically present to receive your items from the driver, however it is the responsibility of the customer to accept delivery or make provisions for the order to be delivered to a safe place. Our courier’s app / website provides you with the option of specifying your chosen safe place. By default, the courier drivers will deliver your box in a safe place. Due to the nature of the products, the driver will not be able to wait for you by the door nor redirect your delivery to another location.

At the moment, we only deliver to UK mainland. Please refer to our Delivery page for full details of areas where we do not deliver in the UK.

No, we do not accept returns because the goods we sell are perishable. Once your order is shipped, it cannot be recalled. This ofcourse does not affect your statutory rights. If there is any problem or concerns with your order, please send an email to sales@yofresh.co.uk with your order number and as much detail as possible to enable us provide you with the most suitable solution.

Our delivery window is between 8:00am and 8:00pm on the days of delivery and deliveries are almost always made during these times. In any rare occasion your items don’t arrive within this time, please email us at sales@yofresh.co.uk and we will chase this up for you (including during out of hours).
